Description:

I want to escape from fullscreen mode (F11) to go back to the normal view of shotwell.

If I press "escape" in fullscreen mode, shotwell (0.11.4) just closes and I have to restart it.

It seems to be a bug only on archlinux (http://redmine.yorba.org/issues/4350)

Additional info:
* package version(s) : shotwwell 0.11.4-2
* config and/or log files etc. :

.xsession-error just says :

(shotwell:17840): Gtk-CRITICAL **: IA__gtk_widget_unrealize: assertion `GTK_IS_WIDGET (widget)' failed

(shotwell:17840): Gtk-CRITICAL **: IA__gtk_widget_is_toplevel: assertion `GTK_IS_WIDGET (widget)' failed

Steps to reproduce: Install shotwell, add some pictures, press F11 (fullscreen mode), press F11 again (or escape) (=crash)

did you try 0.11.6 from community-testing?

can it be related to gtk (like  FS#26745 )?

I can't try (because just add the community-testing mirror and install shotwell 0.11.6 don't work) :

$ shotwell
shotwell: error while loading shared libraries: libraw.so.5: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

And I don't want to upgrade all my system to community-testing...

what about downgrading gtk2 to 2.24-6-2 as described in  FS#26745 ?

Ok I will test that but where can I found gtk2 2.24-6-2 for 64 bits ?

The link is broken in  FS#26745  (http://schlunix.org/archlinux/extra/os/x86_64/gtk2-2.24.6-2-i686.pkg.tar.xz)

If you want to install shotwell from testing, you need also to install libraw from testing too.

Ok, same problem with community-testing mirror and shotwell 0.11.6. Should be gtk2.

could you please try gtk2-2.24.8-1 from testing?
