Hi,
I think that it would be useful if there would be a way to know if someone posted a comment to a package without having to go through each individual packages. Maybe it could be a color code or a "New Comment" notification like in the forum. It would be useful for package maintainers to know if they got feedback or if someone reported a bug/suggestion to a package you use.

Keep up the good work!

great idea... I've missed this too. I'm maintaining nine packages now (and it grows). It would be nice to be notified when new comments were posted.

I'll be honest, we haven't even gotten around to implementing the new package notification yet. I suppose this will come about at around the same time.
Believe me when I say that I sorely miss this feature too, I've got something like 20 packages on the AUR, there's no way I can keep up with any comments that get posted.

It'll get done sometime though, that much I know.

Attached a little patch that actually whips off a little email.

Not pretty, don't use for real, just sort of proof of concept. Oh and now I can say that at least I worked on it ;)
