* Create PKGBUILD with rsync:// source files
* makepkg -g >> PKGBUILD
* rsync write motd to PKGBUILD

seems easy enough to modify in DLAGENTS in /etc/makepkg.conf -- just add --no-motd to the flags for rsync://

Makes sense. Changed on my system, but I think this should get the default.
