This commit in GIT fixes he problem
http://gitorious.org/kmess/kmess/commit/ddeabff33376f418e16f3df3fb642eb41fff5bcd

Maybe it can be backported to 2.0.6.1, or we could use git version instead.

Git version is available in Arch Linux Greek repo

This bug completely breaks kmess for me and anyone not using a @live.* address. I just modified a PKGBUILD that fixes the problem for me.

I'm new to Arch.... I'm not sure about the procedure for these things, so here goes.
   PKGBUILD (0.9 KiB)
