To recap: python version 2 packages are supposed to be named python2-something. python version whatever is named python-something. packages have been updated numerous times without any advancement in that area. The thing is that this isn't limited to only python-lxml. In fact the inconsistent naming spans throughout the repos. python-beautifulsoup listed here is another case. (should be python2-beautifulsoup). But ok, let's try the mailing list then.
