Was hoping you could add support for the outputs window (--enable-outputs) in the official package. Thanks.

Any reason to enable it? You can set output in your mpd config.

If you have multiple outputs, it can be rather annoying to have to modify the config just to disable one. Especially if you want to stream music remotely and don't want it playing through your speakers at home.

You can create different config files and specify path to them as argument in mpd.
Ncmpcpp is rarely updated, so self-compiled package will not be a problem. There is also srcpac in [extra] and customizepkg{,-new} in AUR, if you want more automation.

Yeah, I have an aur package for it. Guess that'll do. Thanks.

Is there any reason for this not to be enabled? It does not add any additional dependencies, and the option is not a large chunk of code. This is extremely useful if you use multiple soundcards and want to quickly toggle between them. I do this quite often as I have a pair of headphones attached to one soundcard and speakers attached to the other. Having the small "outputs" dialog is much more convenient then having to mute/unmute channels to do this. Would it be possible to enable this by default? I don't think it will negatively impact users that will not use this feature.
