Description: Facing a big and annoying bug. I'm using VirtualBox from community-testing, and I cannot get it to keep 2D-Acceleration checked. I wanted to "test" a repository for Ayatana under Archlinux, using a i686 archlinux install.

Only 3D acceleration is kept activated, 2D is disabled I clicked on it and close the preferences panel.

Additional info:

[fred@fredo-arch ~]$ pacman -Si virtualbox
Dépôt : community-testing
Nom : virtualbox
Version : 4.1.6-1

Steps to reproduce:

Just install VirtualBox from community testing, create an archlinux guest, and check both acceleration options. Only 3D one is kept :(

really, you should read the warning(is with orange) when you try to enable 2d.

2d acceleration is supported ONLY on windows guests

It used to be kept as checked in, before... Well, sorry for this bug spamming. Can you close it as invalid ?

I'm ashamed about this bug, really ashamed.
