it would be nice to have this in a seperate package, since this patch is not included in the official wine distribution for a reason. still, i'm not quite sure if this could cause trouble with legal issues.

The patches are actually going to be added in a coming version.. im not sure how soon it will be until they are.. I just thought that in the mean time it might be good to have the functionality.
If the mainstreaming of these patches is to happen soon, then theres not really much point, but if its a long way off, i think it would be worth it.

Obviously i didnt think of any legal issues arising from this :)

the first part says that the most of them are merged, maybe just try the newer patch. If it doesn't apply clean it si allready done

yep, the patches should all be merged, this bug was only relevant when it was posted, its now irrelevant since these changes are in the wine trunk.
