When attempting to run mongodb an error is reported: /usr/bin/mongod: /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.6: version `GLIBCXX_3.4.15' not found (required by /usr/bin/mongod) /usr/bin/mongod: /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.6: version `GLIBCXX_3.4.15' not found (required by /usr/lib/libboost_thread.so.1.47.0) Additional info: boost-libs 1.47.0-2 mongodb 2.0.1-1 Steps to reproduce: pacman -S mongodb /etc/rc.d/mongodb start I dont have a 64bit machine around to test that but I assume it's the same issue. |

if you choose to hold certain packages, then you need to maintain them yourself.
pacman -Syu is the only supported upgrade path
