Details
Currently all clutter-based apps crash with software
rasterizer (drop an X server error on launch). This problem
was fixed recently by upstream, and already applied by
Fedora[1][2].
I recommend to apply these upstream patches: - http://cgit.freedesktop.org/mesa/mesa/commit/?id=d44f821213d7ed67fed18d6ea6c34b61a665c89e - http://cgit.freedesktop.org/mesa/mesa/commit/?id=25620eb1d277c6b80edb136eaeca12532fcfd3ce To fix the following GNOME apps: - caribou - cheese - emerillon (from AUR) - eog map plugin (from eog-plugins) - empathy calling interface (possibly fix for - gnibbles (from gnome-games) - gnome-color-manager - gnome-documents - gthumb - quadrapassel (from gnome-games) - sushi - totem I tested the patches, and I able to run these apps and even GNOME Shell with disabled GPU check. The rendering is a bit jerky, but everything work without crash. References: [1] https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=747276 [2] https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=748747 |
