Description:
After update poppler I find following messages in pacman.log:

[2011-10-23 05:39] pdftex: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/libpoppler.so.18: undefined symbol: _ZN9OutputDev9drawImageEP8GfxStateP6ObjectP6StreamiiP16GfxYmageColorMapbPib
[2011-10-23 05:39] xetex: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/libpoppler.so.18: undefined symbol: _ZN9OutputDev9drawImageEP8GfxStateP6ObjectP6StreamiiP16GfxYmageColorMapbPib

Also I not able use latex.

Yes, I start full update one time to day.
texlive-bin is 2011.1-2.

I can't reproduce an error on i686. "GfxYmage" looks like a typo to me, should be "GfxImage". Either you miscopy-pasted or you have a corruption somewhere. Did you try reinstalling?

Reinstall poppler and texlive-bin solved issue.
