It would be nice for muttng to have the header-cache patch enabled by default. It's part of the muttng patchset, but needs to have --enable-hcache specified at ./configure time.

There should be no impact on users who do not want to use it; the option only has effect if the user sets header_cache in their .mutt[ng]rc.
