By default xorg switches keyboard layout on keys press (but it SHOULD do that when keys are released). For example, if we have ctrl+shift to change layout and ctrl+shift+tab to navigate to previous tab then we are unable to use second shortcut.

Patch suggestion (tested and working): https://bugs.freedesktop.org/attachment.cgi?id=33142

This bug is upstream but xorg developers don't want to apply this magic patch. Anyway, for example, Ubuntu now by default goes with this patch so should Arch.

The fact that Ubuntu does something doesn't mean that we should do something. This patch was suggested long time ago, but we then decided not to apply it. Let upstream make the decision. Also, next time make a reference to an upstream bug number, I had to do quite some searching to find it.

Xorg developers AFAIK already said that they should not fix it because they have a "specification"
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=865 - "Reported: 2004-07-14 02:58 PDT by Vitaly Shishakov", patch was added 2010-02-07
Of course, Archlinux should not be ubuntu, but I said about it only for example (some other distros also already applied this patch)
