DetailsIt seems chromium only depends on xdg-utils because of the xdg-icon-resource command in the install script. Instead gtk-update-icon-cache should be used as chromium depends on gtk. This dependency is already satisfied and xdg-utils can be dropped.

chromium uses xdg-open as well. This is a legit dep.
