Description:
The problem is with my DC-1125 webcam chip in ASUS F3Jc laptop. Whenever the cam is turned on, the led on it is turn on too, which doesn't turn off again anymore. The only way to turn it off is restart or shutdown pc. I have reported this bug to upstream, sent the patch, but no response for couple of months so I am posting it here in case you are interested to apply it. It was tested and approved by another guy who has the same cam. Steps to reproduce: Launch and exit any application which starts the cam. |

Btw aren't you talking about http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=12669
The driver you gave me link to is not from the linux kernel, although same device. So no, the patch is not for this package. I haven't used that driver.
