It seems like thunar sometimes crashes when I rename files:

Mmh, I don't think its necessarily related to this issue.
Thunar also sometimes crashes when I change (rename/add/delete) files using another program (when I run a script which adds a lot of files, or when I compile some code in a dir which I watch with thunar at the same time.

Would you retry i added a segfault patch from thunar git.
