Description:

Irrlicht cannot load the scenes which are using the png files. When I try load the .irr mesh, I get following error message:

libpng warning: Application was compiled with png.h from libpng-1.2.39
libpng warning: Application is running with png.c from libpng-1.4.8
libpng warning: Incompatible libpng version in application and library
LOAD PNG: Internal PNG create read struct failure
: cable.png

Steps to reproduce:

Maybe recompile the Irrlicht package against a newer libpng14 will solve the problem.

I spent a while for thinking about. Maybe this isn't the Irrlicht bug, perhaps the libpng is faulty.

I'm pretty sure the bug is with irrlicht. It just need to be built with current libpng. If that doesn't fix it, then it's possible irrlicht use an old libpng bundled with its source.

Meh irrlicht has become quite unmaintainable. I will fix this in the next few days.

I recompile my app with the newest irrlicht 1.7.2-2 and the libpng problem still remains. Guess this is a shared library conflict.

Sorry, I screwed up. Though, Irrlicht truly has one of the worst build system I've seen so far. Please try -3.

Now everything works perfectly, thank you. The bug is solved in -3.
