Detailsi definately dont know how difficult it is to implement. but in the same way that netcfg handles our connections. it might as well handle our firewall rules with a variable in our network profiles.
the whole idea is to have different set of firewall rules defined, eg: home, work, untrusted. and set a location variable in the profile, this would instruct netcfg to setup iptable rules regarding this profile. is this too far fetched? outside of netcfg's scope? |
