DetailsDescription:
The package firefox-18n-XX doesn't provide a translation. The package version is 7.0.1 Reproducible : always Steps to reproduce : just install firefox-i18n-XX-7.0.1 and start firefox. It is always in english. Element of resolution : The . xpi file is usr/lib/firefox-7.0/extensions/langpack-XX@firefox.mozilla.org.xpi but it should be usr/lib/firefox-7.0.1/extensions/langpack-XX@firefox.mozilla.org.xpi |
This task depends upon
it works perfectly fine here with firefox-i18n-ro, de etc.
LANG=ro_RO.utf8 firefox
to do it permanently you need to set it up system wide in rc.conf
If firefox-i18n-XX doesn't work, I think it's because I'm using firefox-kde-opensuse from AUR.
firefox-kde-opensuse has a directory /usr/lib/firefox-7.0.1, but firefox-18n and firefox from extra have /usr/lib/firefox-7.0.
So firefox-i18n works with firefox, but not with firefox-kde-opensuse.
I will contact the maintainer of firefox-kde-opensuse to fix this bug.
