Details

Description:
Since Thunar 1.2.3-1, thunar-volman 0.6.0-2 and gvfs 1.10.0-2 mounting of external drives is not possible anymore. They do not show up in thunar.

Error output:

(thunar:1378): GVFS-RemoteVolumeMonitor-WARNING **: invoking IsSupported() failed for remote volume monitor with dbus name org.gtk.Private.GduVolumeMonitor: org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.Spawn.ChildExited: Process /usr/lib/gvfs/gvfs-gdu-volume-monitor exited with status 127

Does ldd /usr/lib/gvfs/gvfs-gdu-volume-monitor show up missing libraries? If so, try to reinstall libgdu.

You were right.

libgdu.so.0 => not found

Although libgdu-3.0.2-2 was already installed and up to date.

Do you any explanation for this?

This is once again a file that was removed after splitting a package into lib+app. What do you use to update your system, just pacman, or some wrapper tool?

Ah I see. Usually I use packer, not only for the AUR but also for the main repos.
