Details

Description:
Can't log in as root using GDM. I looked at the wiki, followed it and restarted. Every time I try to log in as root, it says authentication failed. Upstream claims it's not a bug, so either there's an issue with the compiled package or the wiki.

take a look in /etc/pam.d/gdm-password

this is my current gdm-password:

I figured out how to fix it; I changed the wiki to reflect this, so this can be closed.
