DetailsI have got a fairly modest package selection on my computer that does include gtk3.
So as a dependency I need colord, but since the latest version, that means I need sane too. This pulls in 22mb of (in my case) useless packages. Is it possible to make sane optional? |

As of 09/11/2012 (commit ebf3e96), colord does not appear to depend on saned as it now relies on udev for scanner information instead of libsane. A grep of the source and the lack of a "without saned" configuration option appear to confirm this.

libsane dependency has been removed in the most recent version, so it will get removed from our colord package too.
