Details

Description:
Fan work on full speed if KMS is turned on. If I turn off KMS and allow xorg radeon clock speed, pc become more silent, but not complitly.

On catalyst driver pc becomes prefectly silent.

So did this happend before? This is probably because the open source drivers aren't as good in power management, ask the X org devs
