Description:
I was trying to build deja-dup with support for the gnome-control-center, but the header files are missing.
deja-dup looks for them in the path:
/usr/include/gnome-control-center-1/libgnome-control-center/
but the path is simply missing. Also, no sign of the headers in any other location.

gnome-control-center 3.0 does have those files:
usr/include/gnome-control-center-1/libgnome-control-center:
cc-lockbutton.h cc-panel.h cc-shell.h gconf-property-editor.h

Additional info:
gnome-contorl-center 3.2.0-1 x86_64, deja-dup 20.0
* config and/or log files etc.

Steps to reproduce:
build deja-dup from AUR. The compilation succeeds but no module appears in the control-center. If the compilation with contorl-center is forced (--with-ccpanel), throws an error:
configure: error: --with-ccpanel was given, but test for libgnome-control-center failed

upstream decided to drop headers and pkgconfig just because they don't want other panels in g-c-c

Now that you mention, I remember having read something... the thing is... how is supposed deja-dup to appear in g-c-c? AFAIK, this integration between deja-dup and g-c-c was "featured" for gnome 3.2.

i believe it was featured only in ubuntu and gnome is not ubuntu

Ubuntu patched gnome-control-center to allow running not-embedded panels: http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~ubuntu-branches/ubuntu/oneiric/gnome-control-center/oneiric/view/head:/debian/patches/01_allow_external_panels.patch

So we could create a new gnome-control-center-ubuntu package in AUR to add this functionality.
