Description:
as of the update of texlive-latexextra from 2011-06-05 I [2010.22155-1] can see from the 'package changes' that the package slashbox was removed.
Did that happen because is there a replacement package for it? Lack or users?
I just updated my box and noticed that my PhD thesis is unable to compile :(

Of course I can just comment out code lines or have another workaround [keep the sty file locally, for instance] but I would like to know the reason for its removal or if there is a chance to get it back, officially, I mean

Steps to reproduce:
try to compile some tex file that contains in the preamble
\usepackage{slashbox}
