Description:
I have tried with a fresh config. I deleted .kde4 directories and started configuration again. I also reinstalled kdebase-workspace; but KDM does not show any theme wallpaper. It only provides the login dialog on a black screen.

Additional info:
* package version(s)
kdebase-workspace 4.7.1-6
dbus 1.4.14-1
dbus-core 1.4.14-1
* config and/or log files etc.

Okay now I am getting wallpapers and I can select between those provided by kde-wallpapers; but when I install new ones through System Settings, they are not enlisted or available for use. I also checked /usr/share/apps/kdm/themes and they were not installed. However, in the "Get New Themes" dialog, they appear as installed.
