Description:

I have a Brother 7045N network printer that I use on my Arch Linux (64 bit). The drivers are installed from from AUR (maintained by myself).

Since (I think) printing from KDE 4.2 I've had this weird bug that printing from KDE app would yield an output that was cutoff in the top and on the right. The whole page for some reason is shifted a few centimeters to the upper right corner, hence resulting in the cutoff. The print preview is always correct, never an issue there. I got around this bug by printing my things using gtk apps instead but today I had to print out an odt file in libreoffice and NOW there same bug is present there! Now the only application I can print from doesn't shift the text is the acrobat reader (also installed from AUR). The cups test page is printed correctly, so I am pretty sure it isn't the driver that is causing this shift. I really would like to know what is causing this...

Reason for closing:  Not a bug
Additional comments about closing:  AUR is unsupported, so is the Brother driver
