Works fine here. What locale are you using? It only have language files for the en and de locales. Could you try using these locale?

Ah yes, now I see that /usr/share/foobillardplus/locale/ has only de and en directories, should have checked earlier.

LOCALE="en_US.UTF-8" works, but when I exported LC_MESSAGES=C, it didn't. 'export LC_ALL=en_US.UTF-8' does the trick.
Can we please have a post_install message about this?

Perhaps this should be reported upstream so that it use a default language file (like en) in case it doesn't have support for the current locale.

I'm not too fond about these post install messages. The package is also quite big. I think I'll wait to see if it cause a lot of trouble.
