DetailsDescription:
After installing the current nVidia driver on my MacBook Pro 5.5, changing the screen brightness doesn't work. Additional info: graphics card: nVidia Corporation C79 [GeForce 9400M] packages: extra/nvidia 280.13-1 Steps to reproduce: Try to adjust screen brightness in any way possible. Indicators might tell you that it happens, but the screen brightness level doesn't change. How is this not worth implementing? It's clearly a bug that it _doesn't_ work, and this is a fix that makes it work. I wouldn't mind a bitter - integrated - fix, this is just how I fixed it locally. But this is clearly a bug worth fixing.

if is a bug then it should reported to nvidia instead of using workarounds.

Right, I was just told, on #archlinux on freenode, that I should report it here. Will look in to reporting it nvidia.
