If you try to upgrade old versions of mozilla-firefox to mozilla-firefox-1.0.3-1, pacman will indicate a conflict with nss-nspr-3.9.2-1.

# pacman -U mozilla-firefox-1.0.3-1.pkg.tar.gz

Firefox provides nss-nspr. On upgrades pacman can be a bit confused, causing these error messages. You can safely remove nss-nspr from your system and then upgrade firefox, evolution will still work.
