Details

Description: Since gpsd 3.0, the gpsmon command appears to be missing from the package. The man page is there, but not the excutable.

Isn't this just a question of building the package with ncurses installed?

Yes, but ncurses is already installed when you build gpsd because is needed by python2. I guess our version isn't compatible

The ncurses check which is pkg-config ncurses and returns a 1 for not installed because the ncurses package is missing the pkg-config file /usr/lib/pkgconfig/ncurses.pc

I will put in a bug report on the ncurses package.
