DetailsDescription: Please add backup=(usr/share/eclipse/eclipse.ini) to the eclipse PKGBUILD -- and possibly move that file to /etc.
It's necessary to change this file to get optimal performance on low-memory machines. Also, -XX:+UseCompressedOops can save a lot of memory on 64-bit machines. There's also /usr/share/eclipse/configuration/config.ini, but I don't see any need to modify that. |
