Any reason why it should be enabled?

For the people who have an alix board and want to control their leds (like me)... You don't need to hard compile it, a module would be enough I guess. Or is there some specific reason why it's disabled?

added to svn, next rebuild will have it enabled.

The configuration setting has changed to CONFIG_ALIX in recent kernels. Can you please enable that as well?
