Description:

Since updating from KDE 4.7.0 to KDE 4.7.1 nepomuk has problems indexing mp3 files. It suddenly stops at a random mp3 file and the cpu spikes up to 100 % and you find nepomukindexer running 3 or 4 times under top.

This should be fixed in strigi 0.7.6

Just updated to strigi 0.7.6 and it still not fixed. Strigi hangs at random mp3 files but it doesn't seem to spike the cpu that much now.

This should be fixed with shared-desktop-ontologies 0.8.1, let we know.

Just tried it with shared-desktop-ontologies 0.8.1 and I still can't index mp3 files.
