In KDE 4.7.1 the fake solid nm-0.9 backend was added, it allows kdelibs to be connection-aware. It seems that kdelibs can't use the nm-0.9 backend from kdeplasma-applets-networkmanagement for this due to binary compatibility issues, see http://lamarque-lvs.blogspot.com/2011/09/common-errors-when-migrating-to-or.html |
