Details

Description:
tomcat can't read /etc/tomcat and unable to create directory for deployment: /etc/tomcat7/Catalina/localhost, because own root:root with mod 660

Additional info:
* tomcat7 7.0.21-1
* config default


Steps to reproduce:
/etc/rc.d/tomcat7 start
and go to url: http://localhost:8080/

Helps:
chown -R tomcat:tomcat /etc/tomcat7

@kidoz: Can you please confirm this is fixed in tomcat7-7.0.21-2 (I've just pushed it so it could take up to 2 hours to get to your mirror)
