Description:
When I start the editor and save the map
Level Editor -> [Esc] -> Save Mapfile
the game crashes:

Error opening ship file /usr/share/freedroidrpg/map//freedroid.levels.

I assume that it tries to save the mapfile to /usr/share/ something and crashes since I don't have write permissions for that folder as normal user.
