Description:Catalan (Valencian) (ca_ES@valencia) translation has no locale file on /usr/share/i18n/locales on Arch even though the translations exist on /usr/share/locale. Distributions like Debian/Ubuntu or OpenSUSE implement this and have already that file (I attach the file for this locale). I've tried creating the ca@valencia file on /usr/share/i18n/locales copying the information from the Debian file, and then added a ca_ES@valencia entry on /etc/locale.gen and finally selecting it in the /etc/rc.conf file. But it doesn't work.

Could you please add this translation?

* Catalan (Valencian) translation in KDE: http://l10n.kde.org/team-infos.php?teamcode=ca%40valencia

the KDE translation is already in [extra] as kde-l10n-ca@valencia

I think I dind't explain myself very well.

The thing is that I cannot select the ca@valencia locale on Arch Linux because it is not on the locale.gen list. If I add it manually and then create the ca_ES@valencia file on the /usr/share/i18n/locales directory, it doesn't work either...

It seems that Arch Linux has no a locale defined for this ca@valencia translation.

Assigning to Allan and the glibc package, as I believe it's most relevant.

Rejected upstream (http://sourceware.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=2522) so rejected here...
