Details... at least not without a warning and a proper backup. I tweak gai.conf on all my machines to strictly prefer IPv6 even on 6to4 connections (with the hope that the more IPv6 traffic there is, the sooner IPv4 will die). My gai.conf settings get lost silently on each glibc update.

Committed to SVN truck so file will not be overridden with the next glibc update.
