As for me, this was a great idea to move net-auto-wireless
settings from /etc/rc.conf into the /etc/conf.d/netcfg. But
I can suggest some more:
1. Let's move net-auto-wired settings into the /etc/conf.d/netcfg too (at least WIRED_INTERFACE initialization). Why not? 2. Should we let the ability to specify WIRELESS_INTERFACE and WIRED_INTERFACE via /etc/rc.conf for backward capability (now conf.d settings override rc.conf settings)? We can use attached version of /etc/conf.d/netcfg to implement this two features. P.S. Of course, include of /etc/conf.d/netcfg must be added into /etc/rc.d/net-auto-wired (and maybe into /lib/systemd/system/net-auto-wired.service also, but I'm not sure). |
