Since the introduction of kernel 3.0 and the renaming of packages if a user installs from an arch cd + a net install (I used archboot cd, may have a different result) when the grub.cfg is generated it uses the old package names in the bootline e.g kernel26 It must be changed to vmlinuz-linux and initramfs-linux for it to boot correctly Steps to reproduce: Install Archlinux with a Net Install pulling new Kernel3.0 packages. |
