Description:

libsoup had a bug for a long time that prevented it from handling proxies correctly:

This post has a patch that has since been added to master:

Attached is the patch that applies cleanly to libsoup 2.34.3.

i don't see that patch being committed. I do see https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=631368#c31

I was so giddy for a working patch that I didn't even pay attention to the final commited patch. Yikes! I should be fired from Arch (by someone else this time).
