DetailsDescription: launching libre-writer and typing devanagari (in) text crashes libreoffice writer. It was not happening before version 3.4.2; the libreoffice 3.4.2 split packages also messed up hindi ctl (complex text layout) engine. :(
Additional info: * package version(s) * config and/or log files etc. Steps to reproduce: |
This task depends upon
calibre 0.8.13-1
djvulibre 3.5.24-1
libreoffice-common 3.4.2-2
libreoffice-en-US 3.4.2-2
libreoffice-hi 3.4.2-1
libreoffice-kde4 3.4.2-2
libreoffice-writer 3.4.2-2
Well, I don't know whether Hindi (devanagari) uses ob libgraphite engine or not. So, I'm clueless in that. And I installed libreoffice from "extra" using pacman of course.
Stragely LO not crashing now (perhaps due to setup of networkmanager in rc.conf).
As libreoffice-writer is not crashing, I request to close this bug; I'll report another bug report for incorrect hindi text rendering.
thanks.
