Description:
I updatet my system with pacman -Syu and got an update of RawTherapee, which is a Raw-Converter, to version 4.0.0-1. It's in the [community]-Repository but there hasn't released a stable version 4 of RawTherapee yet. Instead, just a few days ago the stable version 3 has released, which can be read on the official web-page: http://rawtherapee.com/ The version in [community] seems to be an nightly- or development-version of RawTherapee. I asked in the forums for it here: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?pid=971299#p971299 The question is why we should use a nightly build of a program instead of a stable release which has just released two weeks ago. Additional info: * package version(s): rawtherapee-4.0.0-1 Steps to reproduce: The commit can be found here: http://projects.archlinux.org/svntogit/community.git/commit/rawtherapee/trunk?id=52a11a3ef5042f8e9faf1bd7ef77f811249b7f4f |
