Description:
Mplayer crashes for some subtitles in ass format. I found a bug for XBMC  FS#25386  libass was the one who causes this. Everything works fine if you disable freetype or just enable "apply style for ass files too". Earlier on my another PC everyting was fine, but I can't say if the package was updated in this time. I've built FULL version from http://www.splitted-desktop.com/~gbeauchesne/mplayer-vaapi/ it works fine without crashes but CPU load is very high, I think hardware acceleration is not active.

Additional info:
community/mplayer-vaapi 33161-3

Steps to reproduce:
1. Install mplayer-vaapi
2. Run any video with ass subtitles
3. Mplayer crashes.

it's related to libass.  FS#25332

the solution is to enable system libass support since the snapshot from mplayer is very old
