Description:
Banshee 2.0.1 (latest at this report) crashes when trying to run it.

Additional info:
Package: banshee 2.0.1-2

Error message:
-----------------------------------------------------------
The program 'Banshee' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadAccess (attempt to access private resource denied)'.
(Details: serial 542 error_code 10 request_code 158 minor_code 1)
(Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line
option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful
backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)
-----------------------------------------------------------

I have KDE 4.7, and all latest packages including gnome3 (to this report time).
This task depends upon

you have some crappy gtk->qt plugin to make gtk apps look as kde?

Yes I do O.o .
I use oxygengtk. I used banshee with it for a long time without any problems, but now banshee crashes (other oxygengtk programs don't crash).

So what's up with this bug?

well, is not a bug in banshee but in oxygen engine. that's the starting point

Thanks for the tip! I had the same error. After removing oxygen-gtk banshee is running fine now.

If you are on KDE 4.x and have this problem and don't want to uninstall oxygen-gtk do this: in the "start" menu, search for "banshee". I will give you two results "Banshee" with an icon, and "Run Banshee" without an icon (default icon). Click "Run Banshee" and it will open Banshee without the oxygen-gtk theme enabled on it. That way you can use Banshee and still have other programs using the oxygen-gtk theme.
