DetailsI have noticed that the "Vote" column in the AUR packages table is needed only to show if you have voted for a package (correct me if I'm wrong).
What about showing this information in another way? Maybe coloring the vote entry (the number of votes for that package) in another color, to show you that the number counts your vote already. In this way there would be more space for the description column. |

But to save column space, maybe the package name could be prefixed with the number of votes? Something like "(5) lilypond 2.4.4-1" or "(0) thingo 1.31-1"? That would be a very quick fix.
But when you log in the table changes and a new column appears, its name is "Vote" (singular) and has the only purpose to show you if you have voted or not for that particular package (the value of the column can just be "Yes" or nohing).
Then again, coloring something useful might be hard, so it's entirely up to you Eric.
Can we close this bug or is there more we should discuss?
This bug fits under the general category of "UI improvements", and I think that since that's an ongoing project, we should take note of, and delete related bugs.
