Description:

Due to an already fixed bug in libass which caused video players to crash when displaying subtitles the current XBMC build in community is still affected by this problem. Imho this should be a pretty easy fix, I guess you just have to rebuild XBMC against the current libass library.

Additional info:
* community/xbmc 10.1-4

Steps to reproduce:

Launch mkv video with subtitles on
Immediate crash when subtitles should be displayed

Bug still exists in 10.1-5, i noticed this bug earlier too but didn't report it. i try to play an MKV file with subtitles and as soon as the part where the subs starts comes on it crashes. Only workaround is to before the text is displayed put Disable subtitles in the options and it plays fine. so something with the libass or other is the problem it seems.

compile with external libass support. the internal one is buggy with latest freetype2.
