libturbojpeg.so is part of the upstream distribution of turbojpeg, but is removed by the PKGBUILD of the libjpeg-turbo package. This is very confusing given that libturbojpeg.so is used by various pieces of software, notably software written by TurboJPEG's author. As a result I believe that libturbojpeg.so, which is part of TurboJPEG, should be reinstated in libjpeg-turbo. Failing that, it would be appropriate to rename the package so it is clear that this is *not* the full TurboJPEG. Thanks |

That library will not be distributed as part of the libjpeg-turbo package as it is unversioned.
