Description:

"xdg-screensaver suspend" doesn't inhibit the KDE screensaver

Additional info:
* package version(s) : xdg-utils 1.1.0rc1-3 ; KDE 4.6.5 ; VLC 1.1.11-2
* config and/or log files etc.


Steps to reproduce:

For instance, when invoking "xdg-screensaver suspend (vlc player window ID obtained with wmctrl)" or when using VLC in the ordinary way (which calls xdg-screensaver itself) the KDE screensaver is not inhibited.

One may notice that a native KDE app such as Dragon Player does inhibit the screensaver or that "xdg-screensaver activate" does start the screensaver properly.

gnome-screensaver randomly doesnt deactivate correctly with lock screen (black screen)
i download last git xdg-utils to see if it is solved my problem (i see some changes in git repository concerning gnome-screensaver)

for rebuild last scripts, I use in my PKGBUILD (not very clean but work) :

Please check xdg-utils-1.1.0-0.20120520-any.pkg.tar.xz in testing if this has been solved or file an upstream issue.

seems ok now with lock screen (ctrl + L) but not after have returned from suspend mode (S3 or hibernate) and multiscreen, i have 2 screens and the left is shows a blue screen when the system wake up. the right seems ok where i can 'delock' the screensaver

Please try xdg-utils 1.1.0-2.20120520 that solved a packaging issue now really using latest git scripts.

If this doesn't help get in contact with upstream to investigate where the bug is. I assume Kde but may
be also indead xdg-utils... (assing also our kde maintainer).
